Bamboo straws are not only better for the environment, they’re better for you. Bamboo is naturally antimicrobial, so the straw will not harbor nasty bacteria (but yes, you should still wash it after use). Unlike other alternative straws, bamboo straws are actually pleasant to drink from and will not disintegrate in your mouth as you savor your drink.
